Hanging art in Stinson Beach…

So this morning at 10, I was at the library in Stinson, with my friend/helper/apprentice April A. and we met there Chris Fitting, sculptor, and his wife, (who are delightful people) to put the exhibition up !

I have the 30′ long wall and Chris has the 30′ long shelve and our works look good together !

His sculptures are completely inspired by nature and have a very organic feeling. The execution is absolutely exquisite. I really like his work a lot !

The show is now up and will be until August 9th. On Tuesday May 24th. at 6pm we’ll have an opening with refreshments and finger food. All art lovers welcome !

All pieces are for sale and at the end of the show I committed to donate 10% of my sales to the Farallones Marin Sanctuary Association to express my gratitude to water, and the Bolinas lagoon in particular.

Chris’s generosity will go toward the library.

After the set up, April and I went to have lunch at the Breakers in the sun, and Claudia Chapline joined us and interviewed me casually for her art events column, it was very nice.

I hope a lot of you will go see the exhibition, and come to the opening too !

More later…
