Trips and tips…

for those of you who follow my little reports, I hope you’ll keep reading and guessing “where I am today” and win a Giclee print… !
Tuesday, (that was Monday in US) I had a great day of typical lazy vacation ! We hang out all day at different cafe terraces and did a little shopping… dinner was particularly great: we sat looking at the mouth of the river where it endlessly kisses the Pacific Ocean , with the beautiful bronze sculpture of a naked lady on the rock right in the middle of it (she had a seagull on her head but was as graceful and free looking as ever with her hair flowing behind her), all the while savoring our delicious “paneer pasanda” and “prawns Vindaloo” drinking our chai and watching the little boats coming back before twilight… It was one of these delicious moments in time when everything is just adding up for bliss.
We even could snap good photos of the sunset just before it disappeared…I’ll post some of those later on.
Wednesday, we had a little road trip, went to a large town South West from here, where after a while one gets used to the sulfurous smell due to the constant activity of the hot springs. It’s a volcanic area, and the hot water (hot enough that in the past natives would cook in it !) is alive everywhere, sometimes bubbling up in new places… it’s wild !
Yesterday was beach day: the water was wonderful ! too much surf to go swimming, but at the edge in the shallow water, I enjoyed waddling and finding clams that we ate for dinner…
Today started with going out to a little wool farm, were i got beautiful yarn, hand spun and plant dyed for my friend Robin…
I wish you all a great day…
More later…
